WHO IS EMP?

EMP is one of the most versatile open format DJs in the area. Born and raised on Long Island, he did what most New Yorkers don’t and moved to an entirely new city to enhance his musical repertoire. Washington DC is a city rich with culture and diversity and the music scene there is no different. In the few years he was there, EMP studied with the best DJs in the area and soon learned how to play to any crowd in any genre.

As a 13-year-old roadie for his father’s DJ business, EMP’s passion for entertainment was birthed at a very young age. Getting his first pair of CDJ’s at 15 and landing his first nightlife gig in college, EMP was consumed by the feeling of making people sing and dance and used that passion to climb his way into residencies all across Long Island and eventually the DC area. He became a master at catering to the crowd and taking them back to their younger years by playing the nostalgic anthems in perfect concert with current hit records.

Currently based at home in New York, EMP maintains residencies both locally and in the DC area and is aggressively looking to take the next step in his career. Always learning, always hungry, and always looking to give back, EMP is on his way to be the next big thing in nightlife.
